Vector was founded in 2016 on the premise of providing career opportunities for veterans to excel in the energy industry. Since then, our business model and service lines have changed, but the commitment to our partners remains steadfast – providing the best-qualified candidates for any given position in a timely and efficient manner.
Meet The Team
Josh started his career as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, working in acquisitions, operations, and finance for the U.S. satellite launch program at Air Force Space Command, as well as the Air Force Propulsion laboratory. After military service, he worked in the telecommunications industry from 2007-2016 in a myriad of finance, operations, and business development positions. In 2016, Josh started the Vector family of businesses to provide opportunities for military veterans to gain meaningful careers in the energy and utilities industries. Since Vector’s beginnings, Josh has grown the company to national recognition with ancillary construction operations in over 25 states and four operating divisions including Vector Talent Solutions.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
John Hotek focuses on the delivery of sustainable human capital solutions and organizational development initiatives while managing the daily operations of Vector Talent Solutions and the veteran outreach and military recruitment initiatives of the Vector family of businesses. A retired U.S. Army officer, John joined Vector after 24 years in uniform and multiple combat tours. His unique military background includes experience in the conventional Army and Special Operations Forces (SOF) focused on organizational development, talent management, and the development of strategic partnerships. As a disabled veteran, John brings a unique perspective to the staffing community and is rightly postured to lead Vector’s strategic outreach efforts focused on the unemployed and underemployed segments of our nation’s veteran community.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from John Carroll University and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development from Duquesne University.
With over 25 years of experience in technical, executive, and sales recruiting, Nick is dedicated to thoroughly listening to and understanding clients’ needs before crafting and presenting solutions that effectively attract qualified candidates.
Having worked with such companies as Amazon, Microsoft, Lowes, Boeing, Nike, Nintendo, Tik Tok, Fisher Investments, and Salesforce, Nick brings a unique set of skills and a comprehensive understanding of today’s dynamic workforce needs.
